The Dehradun municipal commissioner Vijay Kumar Jogdande inspected various works underway in the city under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) here on Thursday.
Along with other officials, he inspected the under-construction children’s park costing Rs 1.5 crore in the Gandhi Park, the Tilak Park being developed at Doon Vihar at a cost of Rs 25 lakh, the Lala Lajpat Rai Park being developed at a cost of Rs 25 lakh at Indiranagar and the Clock Tower renovation work being undertaken at a cost of Rs 66 lakh. During the inspection, the municipal commissioner directed the officials and contractors of the municipal corporation of Dehradun to complete the tasks on time while also ensuring the desired level of quality.
Officials were also directed to prepare and submit proposals for the management of these parks.
Trainee IAS officer Anuradha, town engineers Rachna Payal, Ved Prakash Badhani and urban planner Ashish Kathait among others were also present during the inspections.
