Man Utd vs Man City: Jose Mourinho reveals absentees and returning stars for derby

JOSE MOURINHO has revealed Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Phil Jones are available for selection for Manchester United.

The pair could return for the derby with Manchester City on Sunday (4.30pm).

United and City go head-to-head in a huge title clash at Old Trafford.

And Mourinho will need all the help he can get from his squad as they aim to cut the gap to City down to five points.

Paul Pogba is their major absentee due to suspension, and centre-half Eric Bailly is still injured.

But Mourinho has positives ahead of the visit from Pep Guardiola’s team.

“Zlatan is available, Jones is available,” Mourinho confirmed.

    “[Nemanja] Matic is injured but he plays.”

    Jones and Ibrahimovic were not in the squad that beat CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday.

    But it seems they will feature this weekend.

    City boss Guardiola, meanwhile, has said David Silva is now fit to play after being labelled as a doubt earlier this week.
