Carrie Fisher's therapy dog, Gary, is in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Star Wars fan Clair Henry spotted Gary in a promotional still for the upcoming film in what appears to be a very well hidden cameo appearance.
As you can see in the left side of the image below, a brown alien creature can be spotted looking directly into the camera. Director Rian Johnson has confirmed this little creature is indeed Gary, who has been touched up with CGI to look like an alien pet.

Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd introduced Gary to Fisher as a way to help the actress manage her bipolar disorder. Since Fisher's passing, Gary has been adopted by Fisher's assistant, Corby McCoin.
