NEW YORK: To celebrate GODIVA Chocolatier's new Petit Four Chocolates - a limited-edition holiday collection inspired by the classic bite-sized French confection - the brand launched an interactive store window display at its Rockefeller Center flagship location inspired by the iconic plaza and holiday tree lighting ceremony happening a few steps away later in the day.
Following an official "chocolate tree lighting ceremony" on site this morning, consumers can engage with the innovative chocolate installation online by tweeting @GodivaTree through December 8th to control the color and pattern of the lights for an hour. A live stream via GODIVA's YouTube channel will allow consumers to see their tree lighting options in real time.
GODIVA Executive Chef Thierry Muret teamed up with with famed chocolate sculptor Paul Joachim - also known as The Chocolate Genius - to create the seasonal window scene, complete with a life-size chocolate Christmas tree and a replica of the Rockefeller Center Plaza out of GODIVA Petit Fours.
"We loved the idea of celebrating the holiday in chocolate and what could be more iconic than the Rockefeller Christmas Tree just one block from our GODIVA Chocolatier store?," said Sharon Leite, Managing Director of GODIVA North America. "And to make this a holiday gift to all, we're making the tree social so everyone across the country can participate."
In celebration of the holidays, GODIVA has a wide range of seasonal treats from the innovative Petit Four Collection to the classic Gold Gift Box, Chocolate Holiday Truffle Flight and more offering the perfect gift in every bite. All holiday products are now available in U.S. stores and GODIVA.com. Follow @GODIVA on the brand's social media channels as they celebrate the launch of the new Petit Four collection.
