Last Saturday, Rainforest Seafoods in collaboration with National Baking Company kicked off the Christmas Season with their fifth annual Children's Christmas Treat at Rainforest's distribution centre at on Slipe Road in Kingston.

The treat was open to children from the surrounding communities ages four to 12.

The children were treated to games, gifts and nutritious meals throughout the day. Also featured at the treat was Santa Claus, who took pictures and handed out presents to the children, which was a definite crowd pleaser.

Christmas music brought early Yuletide cheer to the children, who enjoyed dancing and singing along to the festive music.

The children also enjoyed the obstacle course bounceabout provided, while taking turns running through the course and going down the slide.

The delicious meals and refreshments provided by Rainforest were gobbled up by the children, who were also treated to popcorn after the meal.

The children were also provided with entertainment throughout the day, enjoying games such as egg-catch.

Bethany Young, marketing manager, Rainforest Seafoods said: "Our annual Children's Christmas Treat is a special occasion for the company to spread happiness and Christmas cheer to these deserving children in the communities within which we operate, which gives them the opportunity to experience the true Christmas spirit."
