That’s the view of Premier League legend Alan Shearer.

Manchester United go head to head with Manchester United this Sunday as Jose Mourinho’s side look to close the eight-point gap at the top.

Many fear a defeat for United could see them fall away in the title race before the halfway point of the season.

Guardiola’s multi-million pound stars have set the Premier League alight this term, scoring 46 league goals and conceding just 10.

And Shearer reckons only a few defensive additions, along with Paul Pogba in midfield, could realistically get into City’s team.

Asked which United players would get into the City side, Shearer told The Sun: “Eric Bailly, who would strengthen City from set-pieces. 

“Paul Pogba, who is like the Yaya Toure of five years ago — they do miss his drive in midfield.

“I believe Antonio Valencia is probably the best full-back in the league. I’d pick him ahead of Kyle Walker.

“And of course, the other player is David De Gea. He is simply the best goalkeeper in the world right now and as well as Ederson has done this season, he can’t top De Gea.”

Arsenal hero Ian Wright agreed with Shearer’s view but rates former Tottenham star Walker over the experienced Valencia.

“I’d just go for just three — Pogba, De Gea and then maybe Bailly,” he said.

“I like Valencia but I love Walker, so I wouldn’t want to take anyone else out of the City side.”
