Jurassic World trailer shows a darker take on the pre-historic beasts: Jurassic World trailer is out and it was everything we expected. There are rampaging dinosaurs in the scenic Isla Nubar, strikingly beautiful cinematography, pulse-pounding action - in short, all the moments that made the first film one of the biggest hits in history. Jeffrey Goldblum is here, and so is BD Wong, both of whom reprise their roles from the original Steven Spielberg directed film. Directed by JA Bayona, the film stars Chris Pratt, Jessica Chastain, Jeff Goldblum, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones.

Warner Bros to restructure DC in the wake of Justice League disaster: Justice League came, and in spite of boasting iconic superheroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, the film failed to impress moviegoers and critics. In the wake of its failure, there are going to be overhauls in DC. According to Variety, Jon Berg, the man responsible for comic-book’s film adaptations, is stepping down from his current job. “This is something that Jon approached me about six months ago, and he expressed his goal was to ultimately be a producer at the studio,” Warner Bros Picture Group President Toby Emmerich told the magazine.

Star Wars' stormtroopers terrorise Mumbaikars: Just kidding. As part of a promotional video for the upcoming Star Wars film, The Last Jedi, people clad in Stormtroopers suits were seen doing authentically Indian things like watching cricket, sitting in front of computers, sharing WhatsApp jokes and so on. Star Wars fever is yet to catch up fully in India, which is nowhere near as popular like the way Americans like it, with a frenzied excitement. So it is interesting to see makers amping up with the promotions of this venerable franchise, which has a lot of potential for success in India. Expect to see more of such stuff soon.

Meryl Streep speaks up on Harvey Weinstein: Meryl Streep, who will be seen in Steven Spielberg's film The Post, has called the allegations against producer Harvey Weinstein “the most gargantuan example of disrespect” permeating every industry. According to her, women still don’t have enough representation in leadership positions and that affects decision-making. Streep said women in the entertainment industry are prepared to demand equal representation in boardrooms and other improvements to the American workplace. “We are after 50/50 by 2020,” she said to loud applause. “Equal means equal. And if it starts at the top, none of these shenanigans would have filtered down and it wouldn’t have been tolerated.”
