BARCELONA star Lionel Messi thinks PSG forward Neymar will reject a move to Real Madrid, according to reports.
Messi and Neymar spent four years together at Barcelona with the duo establishing themselves as two of the best players in world football.
However, Neymar opted to leave the Catalan giants for PSG in the summer, signing for the Ligue 1 giants in a world-record £200million deal.
Many reports have claimed the Brazil international is determined to join Real Madrid later in his career, and his time in Paris is merely a ploy to get the transfer he craves further down the line.
Yet Spanish outlet Don Balon claims Messi thinks Neymar will end up leaving PSG - but not for the Bernabeu.
Instead, he thinks the 25-year-old former Barcelona star dreams of playing in the Premier League.
Back in the summer, Neymar’s move to PSG raised eyebrows.
The Brazil international was widely criticised by many fans and pundits who believed his decision to leave Barcelona was merely down to money.
But Neymar also left to boost his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or.
Despite having bags of ability, Neymar was always forced to play second fiddle to Messi during his time at Barcelona.
However, his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or remain slim.
PSG are always expected to win the Ligue 1 title given the financial muscle they possess.

Which means Neymar must land the club the Champions League to have any hope of lifting the prize.
An impressive World Cup next summer would also boost his chances for the 2018 gong.
Don Balon say that, as a result, Messi thinks he will also reject Real Madrid.
Real’s on-field success has seen Cristiano Ronaldo win the Ballon d’Or but Neymar supposedly has a greater thirst to prove himself.
The 25-year-old dreams of playing in England and Manchester United and Manchester City would no doubt welcome him with open arms.
And Messi expects him to move to the Premier League when he has had enough at PSG.
