GURUGRAM: Contrary to her sister's claim that the shooting was an accident, 19-year-old Khushboo, the sister-in-law of the deceased NSG commando, revealed that couple had a feud before Jitender Singh Yadav shot at the duo and killed himself. Khushboo, who had come to her sister's house a week ago, said she was shot at when she tried to save her sister.
"It was around 5 am, when I heard my sister, Guddan, screaming. I woke up as she rushed to my room carrying her son Ayush. Jitender followed her into the room holding his service weapon. I tried to stop him by shutting the door but he was furious and fired at my sister. The bullet hit me when I came on the way. He then shot Guddan and within minutes aimed the gun towards himself and fired a shot. As we screamed in pain, the neighbours barged into the house and took us to the hospital,"Khushboo told police.
Acting on her complaint, cops registered a case under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC at Manesar police station.
"We have recorded the statements of two residents on NSG campus who knew the family. We also plan to talk to Guddan and Jitender's children," said inspector Rahul Dev, station house officer, Manesar police station. On Wednesday, Guddan (31), the wife of Jitender Singh Yadav (34), had claimed the shooting was an accident.
