Naked diners strip off at nude restaurant in Paris – so take a look inside

Dining sans clothing is now a real possibility in Paris.

Cleverly dubbed O’naturel, the Parisian eatery opened it’s doors to the public last month.

After hosting a private dinner for the Paris Naturist Association on its first night, the naked restaurant opened its doors to the paying nude public.

Now inside pictures show patrons enjoying the fine cuisine in the buff.

In contrast to the less-than-traditional naked theme, O’naturel boasts a menu made up of French favourites like escargot and foie gras, setting you back around €32 (£28) for a main dish.

After entering, guests are asked to strip off and leave their garments in the cloakroom so they can let it all hang out “in complete freedom” at the dinner table.

But apparently the chefs and waiters keep their clothing firmly on, for hygiene reasons of course.

O’naturel is located in the heart of Paris’ naturist centre and hopes to offer the “pleasure of dining naked all year in the respect of naturist values”.

Restaurateurs and twin brothers Mike and Stephane Saada, 42, are the men behind the bare affair and were perhaps inspired by other naked restaurants opening in London and Tokyo.

A local Parisian revealed that the restaurant hasn’t really ruffled any feathers in the neighbourhood.

"When we learned what was going to be here, obviously it made us laugh,” he told Le Parisien. “Especially since there is a nursery next door.”

But the French aren’t the first to dream up a dress-down dining experience.

A nude restaurant opened up in Tenerife – the largest of the Canary Islands in Spain – earlier this year in January.

The eatery called Innato encourages diners to take their kit off while enjoying a gourmet libido-boosting menu.

The idea was inspired by a nude pop-up diner that appeared in London last summer and attracted a wait list of more than 46,000 people, according to owner Tony de Leonardis.

At Innato, guests are asked to leave their clothes and mobile phones at the door, so they can dine completely nude and technology-free.
