The Chase: Bradley Walsh WALKS OFF after meltdown ‘I thought you were wasting our time’
THE CHASE host Bradley Walsh came close to a break down tonight, thanks to player Jan.
The Graphologist immediately grabbed The Chase viewers’ attention, not only for her occupation, but because she threw a real spanner in the world by going for the higher offer of £65,000.
Bradley Walsh was stunned, her teammates Callum and Matthew were floored, but Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett was ready for the kill.
What’s more, Jan’s chances of making it back with the hefty lump sum slipped away further and further as she admitted she’s never seen Star Wars, Blackadder or read any cookery columns.
Regardless, Jan managed to fluke her way though, which proved to be difficult viewing for both those watching on at home and Bradley who was in pieces.

I thought you were wasting our time
Jan was left flummoxed by her final question: “In what card game might you go ‘all-in’ with your ‘short stack’?” with the chaser just one step behind.
“I don’t play cards, do you?” gasped Bradley, 56, which was met with a firm “no” from Jan.
Bradley buckled under the heat and abandoned Jan as her fate awaited her; which luckily was heading back to the panel with £65,000.
Confused, Bradley asked: “You got it right?

“I didn’t expect you to get through love,” he exclaimed. “I thought you were wasting our time.”
But the nail-biting tension didn’t end there, as the nerve-racking final chase saw Jan and her camp scrape together just 17 steps.
Thankfully, The Beast collapsed under the pressure and the team miraculously pocketed a cool £25,000 each.
Delighted, Bradley screeched: “Jan goes home to bonnie Scotland with 25K. The bunting will be out!”
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
