Mumbai: Actor Saif Ali Khan says release dates of movies change depending on certain films.
His forthcoming film Kaalakaandi is set to release on January 12 but he hinted there may be a change of plans as Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati is expected to release the same day.
Saif said: "Release dates move around... It is part of the business. But we had our event (trailer launch) yesterday (Wednesday)."
Talking about being a spokesman for the Mumbai T20 League initiative, Saif said "Bollywood and cricket" have a great connection.
"I think I am the perfect person to be the spokesman for this because of my parents, my connection and love for cricket. This is very exciting because Mumbai should be the Mecca of cricket and will create fantastic cricketers in future.
"So this league is exciting and I look forward to a lot of exciting talent coming out of it," said the son of late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore.
