I'm A Celebrity 2017: Medic forced to step in as campmates FAINT from lack of food
I'M A CELEBRITY… GET ME OUT OF HERE! medic Bob has revealed he has had to rush into the camp on several occasions as the stars suffer from dizzy spells.
Over the past couple of days the celebrities have eaten well due to a number of successes during the Bushtucker Trials.
But at the start of the series, the campmates were forced to endure several days with a basic diet of rice and beans.
Speaking about the affect the lack of food had on the stars, camp medic Bob revealed: "I mean there's been a couple, I can't mention it medically, but there's been a couple that have had a few dizzy spells and we've given them some electrolyte drinks and some glucose."
However, he insisted that the celebrities have not been given extra food despite how hungry they have been.

"They're very hungry, really hungry," he told The Mirror. "They're very hungry at the moment, they haven't done quite so well at the trials lately.
"If you could see how much rice and beans they get per person, per day, I think you'd be quite shocked.
"The little bit of rice is quite tiny and the little bit of beans is quite tiny."
It comes after recent evictee Kezia Dugdale revealed that bosses gave the campmates cups of tea and coffee if they completed their jungle jobs.

Speaking on spin-off show Extra Camp, she explained: "Everyone has their chores to do, whether it's cleaning out the dunny or doing the cooking, whatever.
"If you did bang on for three days in a row, you got a treat which was tea, coffee and maybe a biscuit.
"Starbucks it was not. You were drinking it out of the pot you cooking in. It's pretty rough and it kept you up all night because you were buzzing."
I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs tonight on ITV at 9pm.
