SHARJAH: The Shari’a Court of Sharjah looked into a case of three Arab young men charged with breaking into an apartment in Al Ta’awun area, where they stole Dhs1.8 million and fled.

THE TRIAL

The suspects appeared before the Court, where the first one admitted that he had entered the flat while disguising as a woman and stole the aforementioned sum.

He noted that the plaintiff had been holding his passport for four years, so he was not able to get any job.

The second suspect also confessed to the complicity in the crime, noting that he had handed over the sum in his possession to the CID members after two hours from the robbery.

Meanwhile, the third suspect denied the charges of keeping the stolen money in his possession. The case had been postponed to the session of December 24.
