"I am doing my PhD in the Department of History, School of Social Sciences, University of Delhi. My PhD topic is titled as “ Demystifying the Cinematic Encounter in Northeast India: An Experience from Manipur” under Dr. Anirudh Deshpande of the deptt.of History, University of Delhi. I am at present working as an Assistant Professor(History Department), Kha Manipur College, Kakching, Manipur.

In 2008, The Cine Club, KMC was established under my initiative and is one of the Staff Advisors of the Cine Club. This is probably the only Cine Club in all the colleges of Manipur. The Cine Club regularly screens prominent features and documentaries in the college. A Retrospective on Aribam Syam Sharma was also organised along with the Library and Information Centre, Kakching at the Library Auditorium in 2016."
