Couple killed in Ashulia accident

A man and her wife were killed when a bus ran over them in Jamgora area of Ashulia, on the outskirts of Dhaka, on Wednesday night.

The deceased were identified as Solayman and his wife Nurjahan. Both of them worked at a readymade garments factory.

Ashulia Police Station OC Abdul Awal said a bus ran over the couple on the Baipile-Abdullahpur road around 10:30pm while they were returning home from work place.

Local people rushed them to a local hospital where the duo died later.
