Sky Sports deal as price cut to just £20 per month

Sky is cutting the price of its Sports service ahead of the festive period.

The satellite TV company has just revealed a deal which means customers can get every sporting channel for £20 per month.

This offer saves over £100 over the term of the 18-month contract and includes Sky Sports, Sky Sports F1, Sky Sports Cricket, Sky Sports Golf, Sky Sports Football, Sky Sports Action and Sky Sports Arena.

If you don’t want to commit to an 18-month contract Sky is also offering channels without having to sign up to a long-term payment.

For £18 per month customers can get one Sports channel, £22 gives you two stations and £26 allows access to three of the popular channels.

These can be changed or cancelled each month without the fear of a penalty.

It’s worth noting that to get the Sports offers above you must take out a basic Sky subscription with prices currently starting from £20 per month.

Also, none of the Sports channels are available in high definition without taking out the most expensive Box Sets TV bundle (£31 per month) and adding a £6 per month Sports HD pack.

Sky recently refreshed its entire sporting line-up which replaced the the standard Sky Sports 1 HD, Sky Sports 2 HD, etc – with an entirely-new set of channels, focused on individual sports.

The new shake-up is designed to appeal to these customers, offering them the flexibility to subscribe to any individual channel package at a new price.

“Sky Sports is giving customers even more choice and channels at the same price for another 12 months, while opening up new ways for sports fans to join.

“If you love Premier League, you can enjoy it for as little as 60p a day or you can have the full Sky Sports package for less than £1.”

Another deal currently available from which features hundreds of movies for just £10 per month.

Sky usually charges around £30 a month for its Cinema channels so this offer brings a hefty saving over the 18-month contract.

To make this deal even more appealing Sky recently announced the launch of three new movie channels.

The new service is going live ahead of the festive season with Sky boasting it will be airing some of the biggest blockbusters of 2017 in the coming weeks.

Sky Cinema Christmas, available on channel 303 from 8 November to 31 December, will offer over 1200 hours of the most loved festive films, including family favourites The Polar Express, The Grinch and Home Alone 2, as well as new and old Christmas picks Love Actually and It’s a Wonderful Life.

Sky Cinema Classics, available between 18 and 26 December, will bring viewers some of cinema’s most iconic films, including The Italian Job and The Great Escape, Oscar-winners The Godfather and The Apartment and family classics Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The King and I.

Offering viewers even more choice, Sky Cinema Musicals will also run from 27 December until 7 January, rounding off the festive season and the year in song.

Highlights will include new and old musical greats with Grease, Frozen and Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s award-winning The Phantom of the Opera.
