Akashdeep fails to score. it's 2-2 still. Belgium have made a great comeback.

Belgium makes it 2-2. This is disastrous for India. 

India misses. Sumit tries to spin the ball and take a shot, but fails. It's 2-1 for India.

Belgium strikes finally. India still lead 2-1. 

Rupinderpal just manages to score in the nick of time. It's 2-0 for India.

Another save from the Indians. This is brilliant stuff in tense situation. It's 1-0 for India.

Lalit score for India. It;s 1-0 now. Good chance for India to pocket the match.

Another miss from Belgium. India now needs to make it count. It's 0-0. 

Harmanpreet too misses the shot. That is a very tense situation out there. It's 0-0.

Belgians start first. And that's a miss. Good stuff by the Indian keeper.

And we enter the shootout, as both teams end at 3-3. That was breathtaking stuff by the Indians. In the end India did really well to save two penalty corners by Belgium.

Harmanpreet defends well, and passes the ball to Sunil. That was a great run of play by India. But there was no one to gather the ball from Sunil. 

There was only one way for India to stop the penalty corner—Belgium miss the ball—and that is what happened. But right after that Belgium get another penalty corner.

Penalty Corner has been awarded to Belgium once more. That is the opportunity for Belgium to take the lead. This was suicidal by India, 

Belgium score again. There comes the equaliser. Goalkeeping without Sreejesh looks like a weaklink. A big mistake by the Indian defence. It's 3-3

That was big cross coming in from Harmanpreet, and Mandeep just had one man to beat. Having done that, he takes a big shot. But the Belgian keeper does well to sky the shot. 

That's the third strike from the Indians come in. That is a very quick reply from the Indians. India are in lead once more as Rupinderpal strikes. It's 3-2

And Belgium strikes again. The scores are level 2-2. This is danger calling for India. Early in the fourth quarter, Indian defence has made a big mistake. The Indian defence is feeding to Belgians' strength

That was a brilliant play by Lalit and Sumit. Lalit has no one ahead of him, patiently waits for Sumit to get in place. And then Sumit takes the ball forward alone. That was really close to the goal. And it marks the end of third quarter

Belgium gets a penalty corner. India needs to be very careful here. And Belgium strikes. It is 2-1 for India. The Indian defence needs to keep the Red Line away from their half

One only hopes that India doesn't get complacent here. India have done really well to reach this stage. Now to lose it from here will be criminal. India needs to get in those bursts of attack coming in.

It was an innovation strike by the Indians. That was a backdoor pass by Rupinder, and Harmanpreet makes it count. India has a 2-0 lead now. The Kalinga stadium has come alive

India is piling on the pressure with repeated attacks. That is the way to play in the quarters. Indians have far lesser possession, but have created a lot more chances. And that brings a penalty corner for India

Gurjant scores. Early in the third quarter Akashdeep passes the ball to Manpreet, and Manpreet passes the ball to Gurjant. After trying three times, India strikes. It's 1-0.

India needs to remain just a bit patient, and not commit a mistake and concede a goal. They have done really well till now. It just depends on when India can convert a chance into a goal. 

That is crafty stuff by Mandeep. He used his presence of mind, and tried to get close to the Belgian defender. He is pushed by the defender and India gets a penalty corner. But India doesn't convert the goal. It's 0-0 at half-time

Manpreet Singh passes a long ball to SV Sunil. He was really quick on the ball, he juggles his way into the box, but he loses the ball when it matters the most. Another chance missed for Indian. 

India has looked really strong on the 23m line. And they have displayed some great stickwork inside the box. It is just a matter of scoring now for the Indians.
