Big cash is up for grabs in the UK Championship snooker event at the York Barbian.

The tournament gets underway on November 28 and last through to the final on November 10.

But how much will the winner make in that Sunday showdown?

Runner-up: £75,000

Semi-finalists: £35,000

Quarter-finalists: £22,500

Last 16: £15,000

Last 32: £10,00

Last 64: £5,000

Total prize fund: £850,000

How to watch the UK Championship snooker.

The UK Snooker Championship first round is NOT broadcast by the BBC.

Their coverage begins on Saturday, December 2 when the second round of the competition starts.

But the action from the opening round of the event is still available online.

From Saturday, BBC2 will be the home of the UK Championship on TV.

The action will be shown across the network, with Red Button access meaning viewers can chose which table they want to watch.
