(MENAFN) While criticizing President Trump for being an "isolationist" and a "nationalist," ex-New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson argued that ex-President Obama was a "good foreign policy president."

On "Ingraham Angle" of Fox News Tuesday, Richardson praised Obama in stating "we were respected overseas, he opened the relationship with Cuba."

He continued "I think he was a very good foreign policy president. And President Trump is an isolationist. He's a nationalist. Internationally, I travel all the time, we are getting criticized by everybody."

However, Richardson was hit back by host Laura Ingraham as she indicated that "European elites" are the ones condemning Trump, she also gave an example of ex-President Ronald Reagan who had received heavy criticism eventually becoming "one of the greatest presidents of all time."
