‘Slicker than AJ’ Tyson Fury fans hail Gypsy King’s fitness and weight loss in video

TYSON FURY appears to be shedding the pounds ahead of his highly anticipated return to the ring.

The self-proclaimed Gypsy King has promised to make a comeback in 2018 and has already eyed up the likes of Tony Bellew, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua as potential opponents.

But he has previously admitted he needs to shift some weight before he is fit enough to fight the world’s best.

And in his latest video to Instagram, fans think the 29-year-old is looking better than ever.

The clip shows the lineal heavyweight champion throwing quick-fire punches to the pads of his trainer.

Donning an all-black tracksuit, he dodges and ducks every attack with remarkable speed and poise.

Tyson Fury is well on his way back to fitness ahead of his boxing return

More than 100,000 people have seen the video since it was posted yesterday with the caption: “Practice makes perfect, working hard. Grind.”

Fans were collective in praising the boxer’s apparent weight loss.

“Is it because he is wearing black, or has he seemingly shifted a load of weight?” one asked.

Another added: “He’s looking slimmer already.”

A third went even further, writing: “He’s not even fight-ready and looks slicker than AJ (Anthony Joshua) with better movement. Can’t wait see this guy get back his belt.”

Earlier this week, Starsport revealed that Fury could return to the boxing world with a rematch against Wladimir Klitschko next year.
