HD Supply Holdings (HDS) Broke Out To A 6-Month High After Q3 Profit Beat

HD Supply Holdings (HDS) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.80 Tuesday morning, up from $0.47 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.76. The company expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $0.41 to $0.47 and full year EPS of $2.23 to $2.29. Street expectations are for EPS of $0.43 and $2.21.

HD Supply Holdings gapped open sharply higher Tuesday, but was range-bound throughout the session. Shares finished up by 2.31 at $38.30 on strong volume. The stock jumped to a 6-month high.
