Market Now: RIL, Infosys, SBI among most active stocks in terms of value on NSE

Shares of Reliance Industries (Rs 159.08 crore), Infosys (Rs 75.85 crore), SBI (Rs 65.01 crore), Vedanta (Rs 64.98 crore), Tata Steel (Rs 52.01 crore), DLF (Rs 45.63 crore), United Spirits (Rs 44.94 crore), HDFC (Rs 44.53 crore), Shriram Transport Finance (Rs 42.47 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs 40.66 crore), Tata Motors (Rs 38.93 crore), Kotak Mahindra Bank (Rs 36.05 crore), Sun Pharma (Rs 33.82 crore), Hindalco Inds. (Rs 30.35 crore) and Maruti Suzuki (Rs 29.12 crore) were among the most active stocks in early trade in terms of value on NSE on Wednesday.
The NSE Nifty index was down 25.20 points at 10093.05 at around 9.50 am (IST).
In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco Inds. (down 2.67 per cent), Vedanta (down 2.13 per cent), Tata Steel (down 1.87 per cent), Bajaj Auto (down 1.26 per cent), Eicher Motors (down 1.21 per cent), SBI (down 1.05 per cent), UltraTech Cem. (down 0.85 per cent), Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 0.81 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 0.81 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (down 0.79 per cent), HPCL (down 0.76 per cent), Adani Ports SEZ (down 0.72 per cent), Asian Paints (down 0.72 per cent), BPCL (down 0.56 per cent) and PowerGrid (down 0.52 per cent) were among top losers in the index.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra (up 1.02 per cent), RIL (up 0.85 per cent), Kotak Bank (up 0.70 per cent), Infosys (up 0.68 per cent), Cipla (up 0.63 per cent), Zee Ent. (up 0.58 per cent), HCL Tech (up 0.57 per cent), Coal India Ltd (up 0.57 per cent), Dr Reddys Labs (up 0.51 per cent), Lupin (up 0.39 per cent), Aurobindo Pharm (up 0.20 per cent), UPL Ltd (up 0.16 per cent), YES Bank (up 0.13 per cent), Sun Pharma (up 0.12 per cent), ONGC (up 0.11 per cent) were trading in the green.

During the day KSS Ltd, Prakash Constro, LCC Infotech, Times Guaranty, Windsor Machine, Remsons Ind, Samtel Color, Hi Tech Gear, Apex Frozen Foods Ltd., Kothari Sugars, SIL Investments, Weizmann Ltd, Nagreeka Capital, MSP Steel, Pitti Lamination are the stocks which touched their fresh 52-week high. On the other hand Steel Exchange, Bharati Ship, Shyam Telecom, CL Educate Ltd., Neuland Labs, Ybrant Digital, Sujana Universal, Rainbow Papers, Lupin, MCX India, Dena Bank, Sanco Industries, SRS Ltd stocks hit their new 52-week low.
