Pune: A 31-year-old woman riding pillion on a motorcycle died, while her six-year-son and husband suffered serious injuries after a speeding truck hit their vehicle from the rear at Phursungi on Pune-Saswad Road on Tuesday afternoon.
The Hadapsar police identified the deceased as Sarika Shivaji Waghale (31) of Phursungi. Her husband, Shivaji Waghale (39), lodged a complaint with the Hadapsar police. The truck driver, Nagrap Malappa Kalshetti (25), was arrested for rash driving.TNN
