(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Motorists on Wednesday faced heavy traffic jams built across multiple areas in the UAE.

According to Google map data, major delays were reported near the Mall of Emirates exit towards Abu Dhabi, causing congestion and further tailbacks to the morning rush.

Slow moving was reported on the Ras Al Khor Road at the intersection with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road towards Dubai.

Heavy traffic was also reported on Dubai-bound roads from Sharjah this morning.

Heavy delays also reported on on Sheikh Zayed Road's E11 - from Al Nahda streetand near National Paint Roundabout.

Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternate routes wherever possible.
