Russian plane VIOLATES EU airspace - Finland fury on eve of independence celebrations
A RUSSIAN jet has violated Finnish air space - sparking fury from Helsinki ahead of the 100th anniversary of the country's independence from Russia.

Finland’s defence ministry said the incident was “rather brief”.
They said the plane entered Finland’s airspace at roughly 7am yesterday morning.
The plane was identified as a passenger or cargo plane and no a military jet, Finnish state broadcaster Yle said.
They said the Russian Tupolev TU-154 the Gulf of Finland near the city of Porvoo.

The area is close to a route used by Russian aircraft between the cities of St Petersburg and Kaliningrad.
The Finnish borde guard is now carrying out an investigation into the incident.
It came as Finland prepared to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the country’s declaration of independence from Russia.
In recent months Russian leader Vladimir Putin has repeatedly tested the patience of his rivals by sending jets into areas of special interest.
In August NATO jets were scrambled to intercept Russian jets flying over Europe, buzzing Estonian territory.
However, this incident ended in embarrassment for NATO when they admitted they had accidentally violated Finnish airspace during their response.
And in May, Russian bombers buzzed the US border in an apparent show of force from Mr Putin to US president Donald Trump.
May's exercise also Tupolev-95MS bombers, which approached the US state of Alaska before being escorted away by two US Air Force F-22 stealth fighter jets.
