ER24 paramedics spokesperson Russel Meiring said their paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained several gunshot wounds which left him in a critical condition.
He said the man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions.
"During treatment, paramedics found that the patient’s vital signs were rapidly diminishing. CPR and further advanced life support interventions were initiated in an effort to revive the patient. Unfortunately, after some time, no vital signs returned and the man was declared dead," he said.
