Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

The December 2017 traded at 10074, a premium of 29.90 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10044.10 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 6.77 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 5.11 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the 50 index fell 74.15 points or 0.73% to settle at 10,044.10, its lowest closing level since 11 October 2017.

Reliance Industries (RIL), State Bank of India (SBI), DLF, Vedanta and Tata Steel were the top traded individual stock contracts in F&O segment of RIL December 2017 traded at 931.80, at a premium over spot closing of 929. SBI December 2017 traded at 314, at a premium over spot closing of 312.20.

DLF December 2017 traded at 233, at a premium over spot closing of 231.40. Vedanta December 2017 traded at 283.25, at a premium over spot closing of 281.55. Tata Steel December 2017 traded at 669.90, at a premium over spot closing of 668.25.

The December 2017 F&O contracts expire on 28 December 2017.
