ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has participated in a workshop organised by Aldar Properties to introduce the Real Estate Law No. 3/2015 to all real estate developers in key projects.

The workshop was attended by sub-developers of Abar Real Estate Company, Misab Company and Emkan Real Estate Company, in addition to the real estate consultants and the concerned parties in this sector.

The workshop aims to transfer knowledge, enhance cooperation and familiarise property developers of their rights and duties as stipulated for in the law governing real estate sector, which came into force on January 1st, 2016. The workshop is also intended to inform them about the requirements and registration phases of real estate projects in Abu Dhabi.

The Municipality invited the property developers in Abu Dhabi city to participate actively in registering their development projects and units as per the law. The Municipality is keen to streamline this sector, follow the law enforcement procedures, and surmount the difficulties that might be faced during the registration process. The move will protect the rights of the concerned parties, advance the development drive, activate the real estate market per as balanced standards & guidelines, and nurture a positive investment environment.
