Dubai: As a run up to the first international T10 Cricket League (TCL) starting on Dec.14 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, the league owners of the six participating teams have decided to engage in a battle on Friday at the Eden Gardens in Ajman.

In this CSR initiative, support staff from their companies and the designated labor camps will form playing elevens and take on each other in three T10 matches followed by a final which will start at 6.30 pm.Technically, this will be the first ever-organized T10 match anywhere and the presence of the league organizers and the team owners at the venue will give these less privileged members of society a shot in the arm as they display their considerable skills and put on a show.

One of the highlights is that the Man of the Final will be acknowledged at the main event. A trophy will be presented to him during the T10 cricket league the following weekend.

A spokesperson for the T10 Cricket League said that the games are certain to spark interest in the cricket crazy camps in the UAE a week before the internationals and become the norm for a holiday game.
