In view of Passing- out- Parade (POP) rehearsal at IMA on Tuesday, Dehradun Police have drafted a traffic plan from 6 am to 12 pm to minimise public inconvenience on the roads.
As per press note released by the police department, during IMA POP rehearsal, no vehicle would be allowed to ply towards IMA from any direction as this area has been declared as zero- zone. The route of vehicles coming from Ballupur would be diverted at Raganwala barrier, IMA while all the vehicles would move towards Meethiberi and Premnagar.
All the vehicles going towards Premnagar from the city would be diverted at IMA MT section gate and would go towards Ranganwala barrier and Ballupur Panditwari. Heavy vehicles coming towards Vikasnagar for Dehradun would follow the routes as Harbertpur Chowk, Dhamawala Chowk and Shimla Bypass. Heavy vehicles going to Vikasnagar, Harbertpur and Delhi would be diverted at Shimla Bypass and would go Vikasnagar and Dhamawala.
Vehicles going towards Vikasnagar from the city would follow the route as Ballupur to Balliwala, GMS Road, Kamla Palace, Shimla Bypass and Vikasnagar.
The people have been asked to follow the drafted traffic plan to avoid inconvenience during the parade.
