Panaji: With an aim to ensure smooth flow of traffic at the Banastarim junction, a vehicular underpass was inaugurated by PWD minister Ramakrishna 'Sudin' Dhavalikar on Tuesday. The Centre-funded project was implemented at a cost of Rs 11 crore.
Dhavlikar said the underpass will ease traffic at the junction. "Development work on NH-17 at a cost of Rs 2,800 crore is being carried out across the state. Work between Patradevi and Panjim and Panjim to Bambolim is also being implemented at a fast pace," he said.
