House of Cards production to start in 2018 without Kevin Spacey: After Kevin Spacey's exit from Netflix's high-profile political drama House of Cards in the wake of allegations of sexual assault, the production without his character Frank Underwood will begin next year. “We have made an arrangement to produce six seasons of House of Cards. This was a very taxing experience, which ultimately took a serious toll on my own health. Unfortunately, the studio was unwilling to accommodate me and terminated my services. This was not my decision and it was beyond my control," he said.
