Champions League permutations: Who will qualify for Round of 16? What does each team need?

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE knockout stage qualification will be decided this week, with eight spots still available and 14 teams in with a chance of progression.

This week’s final round of Champions League group fixtures get underway tonight, and it’s anybody’s guess who will be in the hat for the next round of the competition.

Eight teams have already qualified for the knockout stages, with Barcelona, Bayern, Chelsea, Besiktas, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Tottenham all booking their places with a match to spare.

However, there are plenty of spots in the Round of 16 still up for grabs, so who is in with a shot and what do they need to do?

face a relatively easy task to secure their place, requiring a draw against CSKA Moscow to top the group and needing to avoid defeat by seven goals to finish second.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will qualify with a draw but could still be knocked out if they lose and Sevilla avoid defeat.
