Mayor Alok Sharma held direct dialogue with the citizens and listened to their grievances at ‘Bhopal ki Chaupal’ on Monday. He directed the officials concerned to resolve people’s problems at the earliest.
Residents of Janki Nagar, Chuna Bhatti, reached the chaupal along with corporator Seema Saxena and told their problems. Sharma told Janki Nagar residents that their problems would soon be resolved.
The mayor said pucca houses would be provided to them under Housing for All scheme. The teachers and children of Primary School at Chiklod Road apprised Sharma about the problem of water and electricity in the school.
The mayor asked BMC’s power engineer and other concerned officials to make suitable arrangements of water and electricity in the school. Corporator Monu Saxena informed the mayor about the civic problems being faced by the residents of Navgrah Mandir, Nehru Nagar.
A total of 99 applications were submitted by the people at the chaupal. Among those present on the occasion included MLA Rameshwar Sharma, additional commissioner Malika Nigam Nagar, MP Singh, Pradip Jain, deputy commissioner Harish Gupta, BD Bhumarkar, chief engineer AR Pawar and others.
