The list included stocks such as Remsons Ind, LCC Infotech, Nitco, Setco Automotive, Weizmann Forex, Ramky Infra, Samtel Color, Apex Frozen Foods, SIL Investments, Butterfly Gandhi, Siyaram Silk, Nagreeka Capital, Weizmann, Shankara Building Products and Hi Tech Gear.

However, stocks such as Steel Exchange, SRS, MCX India, Pipavav Defence, Ybrant Digital, PTC Financial, CL Educate, Thyrocare Technologies, Lupin, SML Isuzu, Sakthi Sugars, Rainbow Papers, Sterling Bio, Shilpi Cable Tec, Glenmark Pharma touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 13 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 were trading in the red.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 33.45 points down at 10,094.30 in the afternoon trade on Tuesday.

In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, BPCL, IndusInd Bank, TCS, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank and Maruti Suzuki were among the top gainers, while shares of Eicher Motors, PowerGrid, ONGC and Tech Mahindra were trading lower.

The BSE Sensex was trading 118.23 points down at 32,751.49.

Traders were seen piling up position in petrochemicals, textiles, telecommunications, leather, automobilies and infrastructure sectors, while selling were visible in packaging, gems and jewellery sectors.
