Messi: Barcelona star stunned by trouble Real Madrid ace Ronaldo is causing

BARCELONA star Lionel Messi has reportedly learned that Cristiano Ronaldo’s crisis at Real Madrid is worse than many believe.

Messi: Barcelona star has been shocked by news about Real Madrid ace Ronaldo

Ronaldo has endured a difficult season for Real Madrid on the back of a turbulent summer.

Many expected the 32-year-old to leave the club after being accused of tax evasion by the authorities.

And, though he ended up staying, Ronaldo has toiled by managing to score just two league goals all season.

Lionel Messi, contrastingly, is flourishing for Barcelona and has helped the Catalan giants take La Liga by storm.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim the 30-year-old has been left shocked by news about Ronaldo’s predicament over in the capital.

It is said Messi has been told that Ronaldo’s problems go beyond what is happening on the pitch.

He has supposedly been told that the forward has few dressing room allies left.

Many Real players are frustrated at his abject performances and want him dropped for games further down the line.

And Diario Gol say Messi has also learned that Ronaldo feels he is under appreciated at the Bernabeu.

The 32-year-old’s salary is considerably lower than Messi’s but another contract extension appears unlikely.

Additionally, Barcelona players are more than happy to play around the No10, who takes centre stage.

At Real, however, they do not bow to their star man’s demands.

Messi: Cristiano Ronaldo is toiling at Real Madrid

Meanwhile, speaking last month, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague said Ronaldo was still determined to quit Madrid.

“Yes he has told Real and Florentino Perez he wants to leave,” he said.

“He is again upset, like in the summer, this time because he feels he is not being protected or loved enough by the club.

“But the Madrid president said there was no chance of him leaving, you have a €1bn buyout clause. So there is no chance of Ronaldo being allowed to go.

“Also, the club say there have been no offers for the player in the last 12 months.”
