Concrete efforts are being made to improve quality in school education in State. In this regard, School Education Department has introduced 'Shala Siddhi' Programme in 25,000 government schools in the state.
Plan for improvement has been chalked out for each school earmarked under 'Shala Siddhi' Programme. This year, 15,000 government schools will be adopted by officers of school education department under the programme and in the same academic session, the schools will be upgraded.
Resolution has been taken by officers of school education department from district level to Sankul level in each district by adopting one or two schools, participating actively with teachers as school friend.
In the first phase of Pratibha Parv, assessment of mathematics and science subjects of class 6th and 7th students will be made by each officer in adopted middle school in the coming three days from December 5.
This assessment will be made similar to the survey carried out in national achievement survey.
External evaluators will be carried out assessment of students in 8500 government schools under Pratibha Parv. Grade will be decided after self assessment of answer-sheet of students. OMR sheets prepared at school level will be analysed at state level.
Instructions have been issued to officers of Rajya Shiksha Kendra to reach schools which they chose for Shala Mitra. Pratibha Parv will be held for three days on December 5, 6 and 7. Assessment will be made on the basis of subject-wise discussion with students on the first two days under Pratibha Parv.
Bal Sabha will be held as annual festival on the third day. Parents will also be invited for annual festival.
Cultural, literary and sports activities will be held in their presence. Instructions have been issued to invite public representatives on this day. Public representatives will award meritorious students.
