Appeal for Witnesses - Road Traffic Collision, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a scooter rider was left with serious injuries after a road traffic collision in Leeds this morning.

The incident happened at 0350am on Dewsbury Road at the junction with Trentham Street when the bike and a dark-coloured Volkswagen were in collision.

The bike – a Pulse 125 Lightspeed - was being ridden along Dewsbury Road in the direction of Leeds and the other vehicle travelling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred.

The Volkswagen did not stop at the scene.
