The pizza giant has become hugely popular in the UK, opening more than 1,000 stores since their first in 1985.
But with independent pizza chains on the rise, the US giant is facing intense competition all over the world.

Domino’s chief executive Don Meij said: “This is just this really large pizza – it literally just fits inside our hot boxes.
“We need a new pan size for it, which the company has done for our franchisees and stores.”
As well as its colossal size, the pizza will also contain three times the cheese, and eight foldable slices.

He added: “We wanted to do a really authentic New Yorker, with eight large, foldable slices, really loaded with mozzarella cheese.
“No one is really doing it on a national scale.
“We’re really excited about it. It’s that time of year coming into Christmas, large catering orders.”
