Domestic equity indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty were trading higher on Monday following global cues.

Couple of stocks surged over 5 per cent in the morning trade. The list included stocks such as Manav Infra Projects (nearly 18 per cent), Cantabil Retail (17.33 per cent), Remsons Ind (14.91 per cent), ISMT Ltd (12.58 per cent), LCC Infotech (12.50 per cent), Uttam Value Steel (12.50 per cent), Setco Automotive (12.00 per cent), Jubilant Ind (11.21 per cent), Fourth Dimension Solutions Ltd. (11.02 per cent), Prakash Constro (10.59 per cent), Bhagyanagar Ind (10.45 per cent), Renaissance Jew (10.41 per cent), Fineotex Chem (9.42 per cent), Biocon (9.19 per cent) and Ramco Systems (8.97 per cent).

The 30-share Sensex was up 96.19 points at 32,929.13 on Monday, while the 50-share Nifty index was trading 25.25 points up at 10,147.05.

In the Nifty 50 index, 22 stocks were trading in green, while 28 stocks were in red.

Stocks such as ISMT Ltd, Setco Automotive, LCC Infotech, Bhagyanagar Ind, Renaissance Jew, Fineotex Chem, Ramco Systems, Biocon, Dhanuka Realty Ltd., Ramky Infra, Morepen Labs, Digjam Ltd., IL&FS Invest, Samtel Color, Vikas GlobalOne hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade.

However, FCS Software, Zenith Birla, Steel Exchange, Gallantt Ispat, Glenmark Pharma, Dynamatic Tech, Lupin, Visesh Infotec, Rasoya Proteins, Golden Tobacco, Sujana Universal touched their new 52-week low in trade.
