Housewife 'commits' suicide

Rajshahi: A housewife has reportedly committed suicide over a family feud at Arani Noornagar village in Bagha upazila.

Deceased Nihari Begum, 27, was the wife of Mohidul Islam, a resident of the village.

Quoting family members, Bagha Police Station officer in-charge Rezaul Hasan Reza said Nihari Begum took poison on Sunday afternoon.

In a critical situation, she was later rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.

The body was sent to the hospital morgue.
