RIYADH, 4th December, 2017 (WAM) -- The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence, has met with US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry to discuss strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields, especially in energy, environment, industry areas.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, they discussed means of boosting joint investments between the two countries, especially in the petrochemical, infrastructure and energy sectors.

Prince Mohammed highlighted the kingdom's keenness to stabilise energy markets and supply them in a sustainable manner to serve the interests of energy producers and consumers.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Khaled Al-Falih, and a number of officials from the US Department of Energy.
