Chelsea news: Michael Emenalo lifts lid on Antonio Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge
CHELSEA boss Antonio Conte has the full support of the club’s hierarchy.
That’s the view of Chelsea’s former technical director Michael Emenalo.
Emenalo left the Blues last month to take up a new position at Monaco after spending 10 years working alongside owner Roman Abramovich.
Reports in the summer suggested Conte and Abramovich had fallen out after the Italian became frustrated at a lack of transfer activity.
Conte has been subsequently linked with a return to Italy at the end of the season despite guiding the Blues to the title in his first season in charge.

But Emenalo claims everything is well behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea should consider themselves lucky to have 48-year-old in charge of the club.
“Chelsea are very lucky,” he told talkSPORT.
“Every year we seemed to find some very good people to manage or coach that club and I think in Antonio Conte they have one of the best three coaches in the world.
“I think that he enjoys a lot of respect at the senior level, the board level and the ownership level of the club, so there should be no worries at all.

“It is true that I have a very good personal relationship with him, I love his work, I love his passion, I love his ideas.
“But I think he’ll be just fine.
“He is surrounded by a lot of competent assistants, those he brought with him and those who were already at the club, and their recent results just show they will keep going on stronger and stronger.”
