Rahul files nomination: It’s crowning not election, says Shehzad Poonawalla

After Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi filed his nomination for the role of party’s president on Monday, rogue Congress leader Shehzad Poonawalla described the nomination as crowning. Terming the election process in Congress fake, he alleged that its only crowning that takes place in the Gandhi family and not election or nomination. Shehzaad also challenged Rahul Gandhi that if he would have gone for a fair election, several party workers like him could have defeated him. Poonawalla terming himself as a whistleblower has repeatedly alleged that elections in Congress party is rigged.
