TVS Apache RR 310 Launch On 6 December; Officially Teased

Chennai-based TVS Motor Company is all set to launch its much awaited bike TVS Apache RR 310 in India on 6 December, 2017. Just days ahead of the launch, TVS has teased Apache RR 310 in an official video released on 3 December.

TVS Apache RR 310 was first introduced to the Indian market during Auto Expo 2016 in the form of TVS Akula 310 Race concept bike. Akula means shark in Russian. The bike is a tribute to TVS Racing’s 33 years of dominant race heritage.

Talking about the bike, at the Expo, the company said the model has been conceived ground up as a track machine, taking inputs from its factory race riders as well as using cutting edge technology.

A high performance engine breathing through a forced air fed air box gives the engine of TVS Apache RR 310 a high rev peak capability. The engine is mated to a quick shifting 6 speed gearbox.

Apache RR 310 will feature a range of equipment. This include USD forks, radial calipers, highly stiff space frame chassis, lightweight carbon fibre bodywork, aluminum sub frame and a cast alloy swing arm.

The heat management gills in the body as well as dorsal fin underneath the seat gives it’s a characteristic shape and aids in aerodynamic efficiency. Other features include a full function digital speedo, on board gyro cameras and a steering damper.

Talking about the teaser, the video reveals the front profile with LED projector headlamps and angular LED DRLs, engine casing, fairing and the tail section of TVS Apache RR 310.

The bike is finished in red colour and white racing stripes, which enhance the sporty appeal of Apache RR 310.

Its design looks quite aerodynamic, from the front, and also gets a windscreen at the top right corner.
