Yesterday, the dancing couple performed a steamy Rumba to Hopelessly Devoted To You from Grease and certainly sent tongues wagging with their routine. 

Even Bruno Tonioli, 62, thought the number was particularly heated, joking to the pair: "Oh yes [the chemistry was believable]…"

Presenter Tess Daly, 48, added: "Did you actually just kiss on the lips? I missed that."

Now, during the Strictly Come Dancing results show, Claudia, 45, waded in on the blossoming romance. 

After getting through to the semi-final, Mollie, 30, thanked her partner for putting up with her rumoured 300 hours of dancing. 

Claudia joked: "Very cute! And only half that time is spent kissing… I'm joking!"

Fans of the BBC talent show went wild with the comment and flocked to Twitter in their numbers as one said: "So come on Mollie and AJ - you are soooooo dating!"

Another added: "Claudia said what we were all thinking about Mollie and AJ."

A third joked: "Wow, #Strictly are teasing AJ & Mollie like they're on a Year 9 coach trip!"

The pair were caught canoodling at various points during tonight's show. 

AJ in particular seemed to be whispering sweet nothings in his partner's ear on multiple occassions.
