The PS4, Xbox One and PC expansion has a December 5 release date and what is believed to be a 5pm launch time.

That's according to the Bungie blog, which states that Curse of Osiris will be released following a period of maintenance.

While the Bungie blog doesn't reveal when the maintenance will begin, it does say that Curse of Osiris will launch alongside the new weekly reset at 5pm UK time.

"As announced in a previous update, Daily and Weekly Reset will be changing next Tuesday with the release of Curse of Osiris," Bungie confirmed.

Express Online will update this article when an official release time is announced.

Bungie has also revealed pre-load and storage requirements for Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris.

And it's bad news for PS4 users, who will need a massive 88GB of storage space for Curse of Osiris.

Elsewhere, Curse of Osiris requires 44GB on Xbox One, and 68GB on PC.

Fans can start to pre-load Curse of Osiris from 4pm UK time on December 5.

Curse of Osiris takes players to Mercury in search of legendary Guardian Osiris.

"Curse of Osiris is Destiny 2's first expansion and sends you back to the stars to solve a new mystery," reads the official description.

"The Vex are on the march, and our only hope to stop them may lie with Osiris, the notorious heretic and most powerful Warlock in the history of the Last City. On your quest to find him, you'll meet new characters, explore new places, tackle new challenges, and earn some sweet new loot."

The DLC features new story missions, a new destination, an increased power cap, new weapons, armour and more.
