James DeGale is back in the UK after two years spent fighting on the road

DeGale initially won his IBF world super-middleweight title in Boston, dropping Andre Dirrell twice in the second round before taking a unanimous decision win.

The 31-year-old has subsequently recorded three successful defences but his draw against Badou Jack in January was controversial after many believed that the Swede had done more than enough to win the fight.

DeGale lost a tooth and suffered perforated eardrum in the bout but was denied a rematch by Jack’s desire to move up to light-heavyweight.

Instead, he is back in London and will take on American Truax, who is getting his second shot at a world title after losing to Daniel Jacobs two years ago.

It is now a multipurpose arena which has seen badminton, netball and wheelchair rugby pass through its doors.

Boxing has also been held there with the likes of Billy Joe Saunders and Dereck Chisora having headlined the venue.

What time will James DeGale vs Caleb Truax start?

The exact start time on the night will depend on the undercard, which is set to feature as many as 12 different fights.

However, organisers on the night will be hoping to get DeGale and Truax into the ring before 10.30pm.

BT Sport 1 will show the action on the night while live streaming will also be available via BTSport.com and the award-winning BT Sport App.
