(MENAFN)US President Donald Trump has been considering recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and Palestinians expressed their rage towards the reports.

The Arab League is to have an emergency meeting as the Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Sunday called on to discuss the issue.

"Will not serve the peace process but will undermine it. It will inflame the conflict not only in Palestine but in the entire region," Said Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, speaking about the dilemma.

Trump is also considering signing a six-month waiver to delay moving the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
